You won’t find me beating around the bush. It’s not because I’m an asshole, though if you’re a sensitive delicate flower, you’ve probably already labeled me as one.
I don’t dodge the point because if you ask for my point of view or a specific question, it is my professional responsibility to give you the answer you asked for. Anything less than the total, unvarnished truth is just lying to you and blowing smoke up your ass.
Don’t like my answer? No problem. Move on. Feel offended by the truth? That’s your choice. The world is currently overflowing with soft people who are more than happy to tell you exactly what you want to hear while your business sinks.

Could I word it in a “softer” way? Could I wrap it in corporate buzzwords and “constructive” fluff? Sure. I could. But that’s not me, and it’s not how we get results.
I’m not here to hold your hand through a failing strategy just to keep you feeling good. I’m here to tell you what’s broken so we can fix it. If you can’t handle a direct assessment without needing a safe space, we aren’t the right fit.
